The space
This hand-hewn, timbered highlander cottage blends spruce walls with floor-to-ceiling glass. The open-plan living area centers on a tiled stove—stack it with birch logs for evenings of amber light. The loft bedroom’s skylight tracks stars over Mount Lodowe. A private sauna and Finnish terrace face the valley’s changing light.

Guest access
You have the entire house, the fenced garden with a fire pit, and a dedicated parking spot by the gate. The key is in a smart lock—I’ll send the code the morning of arrival.

Other things to note
The gravel road up is steep; winter tires are essential. Breakfast baskets from the village baker can be left at the door on request. Towels, slippers, and a rain jacket for mountain hikes are all provided.
